This is a rare opportunity to help shape brand innovation and strategy at Atlassian. In the role of Brand Innovation Manager you will manage the brand planning and brand strategy of our new and existing product brands. Working across teams you will contribute to brand positioning, portfolio management, naming, visual identity development, and core brand strategy that informs everything from product branding, brand campaigns, to GTM strategy and activity.

In this role you'll have an opportunity to:

  • Work with teams to manage brand strategy processes and frameworks from naming, brand positioning, and portfolio alignment to influence the messaging and marketing across our products
  • You will partner with our Research teams on qualitative and quantitative customer and market research
  • Engage with the larger brand team to shape the future of work & increase brand awareness and brand affinity of our portfolio of products and solutions
  • Connect brand development processes and insights to product launches, events, and always-on brand marketing activity
  • You will take on a visible role w/ regular collaboration across leadership, product, brand, and marketing

On you're first day, we'll expect you to have:

  • 5+ years of experience of the following:
  • Hands-on brand strategy or brand innovation experience: naming, portfolio alignment, research & insights, brand positioning - from conception to execution
  • Experience managing and delivering on cross-team projects in areas like naming, brand positioning, user testing, and brand portfolio management
  • Top of funnel marketing execution experience (e.g., product launches, campaign launches, etc)
  • Contribute to brand planning and activation of brands - be it building and sharing strategic POVs, copywriting, and creative strategy for our multi-product brand marketing
  • You will prioritize, manage deadlines, and work with several teams in our marketing org
  • Broad brand experience across B2B SaaS

Nice to haves but not required if you have:

  • Branding experience w/ consumer products
  • Experience w/ flywheel GTM and high touch solution sales
  • Worked w/ both product-led and brand-led orgs

The Brand team works across Product, Comms, Creative, Thought Leadership, Editorial, Product Marketing, and Sales. In collaboration with these teams, we define, describe, and translate everything our products do to help customers unleash their potential. We predict market trends. We set brand strategy. We position our products, create content to tell compelling stories, and help ensure the Atlassian brand and our portfolio brands (Jira, Trello, Confluence) are experienced in a compelling & consistent way.
