Your future team
Atlassian’s Channel community is growing and we are looking for amazing TEAM members to help us take our Channel Program to the next level. In this role, you will be responsible for building, launching and management of industry-specific programs as part of the Atlassian solution partner program. These programs are responsible for identifying areas of opportunity and optimizing programs to enable Partner success when positioning, selling and servicing Atlassian products and solutions to industry vertical customers.
This individual will be responsible for working with business segments, regional field organizations, and our Partners to evolve our industry vertical programs to motive and excite our industry partner channel experts. The Industry Verticals Partner Programs Manager would build, launch and manage requirements and benefits for the program and initiatives to accelerate Atlassian adoption in key industry verticals with our partners.

What you'll do

  • Develop and implement a channel program framework that supports Atlassian industry vertical businesses worldwide
  • Drive the design and implementation of channel partner programs or initiatives Atlassian needs to implement to accelerate Atlassian adoption in key industry verticals.
  • Collect and manage feedback from channel partners and internal teams on the programs and effectively implement a roadmap of changes to support Atlassian's objectives for industry verticals
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure the planning and execution of program launches and ongoing operations of programs are running as expected.
  • Create internal and external program documents to clearly identify the benefits, terms and conditions, rules of engagement, and marketing that support programs globally.
  • Manage the launch, communication, and change management for channel programs.
  • Establish key results to measure the success of channel programs.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, channel managers, operations, finance, and technical teams at all levels within the company to help identify, design, and implement business processes necessary to implement a successful industry verticals partner program.

Your background

  • 6+ years of related channel programs or channel marketing/sales experience with industry vertical market expertise in either Public Sector, Healthcare/Life Sciences, Financial Services, etc.
  • BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business, Finance or equivalent experience preferred.
  • A solid understanding of Channel Partner business models and what roles Partners can play to help solution, sell, and add services with software and SaaS products.
  • Proven leadership in a global software or cloud organization.
  • The ability to plan, design, and execute a portfolio of programs for external Channel Partners using requirements and rewards to drive a motivational behavior aligned to Atlassian's Channel strategy.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, financial/analytical and interpersonal skills working with executive leadership internally and with channel partners. The role requires a proven track record in messaging/positioning, program management, and broad execution capabilities. A requirement is to motivate, leverage, and manage internal teams on a project basis in order to accomplish the program strategy.
  • Experience driving business plans, financial models, and data & analytics to justify programs and roadmap.
  • Partner communications experience through partner portals, social, email, etc.
  • A desire to communicate through dashboards, reports, and charts to communicate and inform your team on progress of initiatives.
  • A track record of success leading channel programs and teams, but also are open to learning how to be successful in Atlassian’s unique business model.
This position is within the Global Channels organization reporting to the Head of Global Partner Programs Strategy and will work closely with various teams across Atlassian. The channel team is a fun and high-energy group tasked to build programs to attract, activate, and go-to-market with partners (Solution Partners, Integrators, Aggregators, Services Partners, Technology Partners & Resellers) representing the Americas, EMEA, and APAC. Working with over 700 global channel partners we must ensure our programs support a variety of businesses. We are a critical part of Atlassian's broader field operations group, which has a unique approach to delivering value to our customers.
