Sound interesting? Well, if you have deep customer empathy, love solving hard problems and excel at variety, this is your role! We are looking for an Engineering Manager to join a fast-growing team. You'll foster and grow engineering talent and partner with your product and design counterparts to spar on ideas. You will also help shape the future of our product by influencing product and engineering strategy.

What you'll do

  • Lead a high-performing team of engineers, including managing and shipping cross-functional or multi-team projects.
  • Prioritize and plan the team's work with your product management and design peers.
  • Gain an understanding of our customers needs and ensure our roadmap is aligned with their best interest.
  • Maintain operational quality for your team's important services - we run services in production!
  • Support your team by holding regular one on ones, giving context on priorities, collaborating with other teams, unblocking projects, and resolving conflicts.
  • Grow your team members careers and keep them engaged.
  • Establish and improve team processes.

Your background

  • 1+ years of engineering management experience and 5+ years of experience as a engineer
  • Background in application development on a SaaS product with some popular current technologies (React, GraphQL, Node, or TypeScript)
  • You understand methodologies like Agile, XP, and Lean, and see their value, but don't believe there's only one right way to work.
