We're looking for a driven and talented individual to join our growing team at Atlassian in an IP Program Manager role focusing on supporting in all aspects of the IP function at Atlassian. Reporting to our Director of IP, this is your opportunity to be part of an exciting, fast-growing company with an amazing culture and legal team.

In This Role, You'll Get To support the IP team in all aspects such as:

  • Support members of the IP team in day-to-day functions
  • Track and maintain metrics for different IP team functions
  • Monitor and manage bills and budgets
  • Vendor and contractor management
  • Organize training, and provide a touchpoint, for various engineering and business teams
  • Champion and cultivate cross-team relationships to organize and manage dependencies
  • Triage, track, and assign incoming issues
  • Help create materials such as slides, presentations, and wiki pages for trainings

  • You have the confidence to independently manage complex projects and the drive to build new functionality.
  • You can navigate a complex organization and work with ambiguity.
  • You have the capability to meet, engage, and build relationships with a broad spectrum of Atlassians across our legal, product and engineering organizations.
  • You have a background in supporting IP teams.
  • You like to master new subject areas, whether new laws, new technologies or new business strategies.
  • You can listen to our business stakeholders with a desire to understand and solve their problems with intelligence and empathy

On Your First Day, We'll Expect You To Have:

  • 3-5+ years as an IP program manager at a law firm or in-house
  • Patent agent or technical specialist with patent prosecution experience is a plus (all drafting is done by outside counsel)
  • Strong organizational and program management skills
  • Comfortable with learning and using different tools for organization and program management
  • Passion to understand our products, our culture, and our business model
  • Drive to improve on existing systems and methods
