Your future team
The Atlassian Foundation has a sub-team focused on philanthropic investments in Global Education (You can find more information on our Global Education investments and partner portfolio here). We are a team of people with backgrounds in non profit, social impact, education, and technology. Within our Global Education Portfolio, the Atlassian Foundation presently has 16 large-scale, multi-year funding partnerships (for example, our portfolio includes Room to Read, Teach for All, Code.org, Humanitix and Educate!, among others).

We're hiring a Social Impact Coordinator reporting to the Partnerships Officer.

You are passionate about education and international development, eager to identify new opportunities and bring creative ideas to the table, and excited to contribute to the growth of both partnerships and people. You will work with the Educate Partnership Officer and Engagement Manager to bring the best of Atlassian - funding, people, and product - to unleash the potential of our Global Education Partner (GEP) organisations.

You are responsible for:

Partnership Support:

  • In collaboration with the Partnerships Officer, bring the best of grantee funding to the Global Education Partners.
  • Organise the logistics and activities of grantee lifecycle from assessing new partnerships, on-boarding, and off-boarding including sending communications, calendaring and maintaining meeting notes and capturing follow ups, preparing and reviewing necessary documents and materials, and maintaining the grants management tool.
  • Provide relevant support and project execution to the annual reporting and monitoring and evaluation processes including submission of annual reports, meeting coordination and tracking communications, preparing and reviewing documents and materials, and sharing of annual report to appropriate channels (board of directors, foundation team, sustainability team, and public "reporting" through Foundation website).
  • Provide relevant support and project execution to GEP-related and Atlassian internal communications or events such as International Day of the Girl, Sustainability Week, and TEAM Conference.

Non-Financial Support:

  • In collaboration with the Engagement Manager, bring the best of Atlassian people and products to the Global Education Partners through volunteer management and program development.
  • Organise the logistics of in-person and remote employee engagement events and campaigns including sending out invites, communications to GEPs, writing blog posts/case studies, and creating graphic assets, and capturing volunteering hours.
  • Maintain and track all active volunteering projects with GEPs in tracking system and provide relevant support in completing projects.
  • Provide relevant support and project execution to all engagement programs and program development.

Educate Team Operational Support:

  • Facilitate team organisation and efficiency to deliver our priorities, including coordinating logistics, maintaining meeting notes, and capturing follow ups for Educate team related internal/external meetings.
  • Provide relevant support and project execution to twice-yearly board of directors meeting including meeting preparation, board materials requirements, and follow-up.
  • Oversee Educate team related workflows and processes including partnerships and engagement related activities, team technology, and donation management system.
  • Maintain all communication including educate requests and inquiries through service desk and contact us form on website.

Your Background

  • Interested in international development, social impact, and/or global education
  • 3+ years of experience specifically in operations, coordinator, or administrative roles
  • Experience creating and delivering key messages clearly in a variety of formats (video, photos, blogs)
  • Ability to shift focus when needed
  • Proficient and comfortable using technical tools
  • Comfort working with remote/hybrid teams and able to work with an eclectic mix of geographically dispersed team members; willing to coordinate among different global time zones and be available for periodic early morning or late evening meetings.
  • Most importantly, you are passionate about making a difference and are excited to help implement Foundation's vision
Compensation
At Atlassian, we tie our base pay ranges to role and level. In the United States, that means your base pay ranges will fall into one of three geographic pay zones depending on your location. Our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $72,700 - $111,600
Zone B: $65,400 - $100,400
Zone C: $60,300 - $92,600
Within each range, base pay is ultimately determined based on your skills, expertise, and experience. This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and/or equity.
