To make our ambition a reality we have established the Modern Workplace Solution Area which will be responsible for implementing the Workplace growth strategy and driving increased sales, revenues, capability and reputation. The Solution Area will have two strategic (advisory and technology) offerings called Workplace Platform Modernisation and Value Realisation. These are underpinned by sub offerings spanning strategy, culture, experience, operations and technology transformation and managed services that assist clients with Evergreen IT management through to identification/ realisation of new business value opportunities.

Within the Modern Workplace Solution Area, we have established a Center of Excellence (CoE) which is responsible for innovation, offering development/ evolution, partner eco-system management, delivery method and asset development, talent forecasting, and critically, sales generation and solution design support to assist our regional sales teams with pipeline and lighthouse deal conversion.

As a Content Services & Employee Experience Platforms Solutions Architect within the CoE, you will be responsible for identifying critical Modern Workplace deals and providing expert sales and solutioning support to Operating Group and Account teams to help them win and grow our Modern Workplace business.

You will:

  • Be responsible for identifying critical workplace related deals and providing expert sales and solutioning support with a specific functional and technical focus on content services and knowledge management to Operating Group and Account teams to help them win and grow sales, revenues, client portfolio, capability and reputation.
  • Design, solution and evolve Content Services for enterprise organizations that encompass content lifecycle management, content intake as a one-time or continuous effort with an appreciation of workflows, automation, AI, leveraging Microsoft Office 365, Viva Topics, PowerPlatform and related Azure technologies
  • Support sales development and proposal response teams with employee experience and content management insights, solution approach, technical architecture, estimation and proven delivery practices
  • Develop and manage content services & employee experience platform sales and delivery assets including patterns, designs, architecture blueprints, staffing models, estimation tools and credentials for horizontal and industry specific solutions
  • Assist with upskilling of region and delivery center teams to help them develop and scale capability needed to generate and fulfil demand for workplace applications and services
  • Be aware of, and understand, competitor offerings in the MW Collaborative Applications market including NoCode/LowCode platforms and contribute to build unique selling points within the Avanade offering portfolio

Experience and skills you will bring

  • 10-12+ years experience of architecting and supporting sales of application-focused content lifecycle solutions spanning underlying cloud infrastructure, low-code/no-code-platforms, rich-client applications as well as devices, security, data, experience and business improvement
  • Content strategy, governance and operations of organizational knowledge underpinned by Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Viva, PowerPlatform and/or similar Rapid Application Development platforms in the Microsoft eco-system
  • Sales and/or end to end solutioning accountability and track record for a pipeline of $1M+ digital transformation deals with demonstrable innovation and value creation plus evidence of successful cross and upsell motions
  • Solution design, integration, implementation/ transition to managed services including end-to-end lifecycle management, service management and ideally experience optimization
  • Expert knowledge in developing solutions for information & frontline workers by building information and/or data architectures as well as leveraging enterprise workflow and business process automation tools
  • Good presentation skills with an ability to equally talk to a client’s Enterprise Architect as well as a CxO and still get appropriate messages across
  • Experience in front line / customer facing worker applications for at least one of the following industry segments (Banking, Insurance, Retail, Manufacturing, Energy, Health Services Provision, Public Sector and Utilities)
  • Proven Expertise of Agile Methodologies within Software Development; DevSecOps, COBIT
  • Experience of working within a matrixed business spanning consulting and technology services and onshore/nearshore/offshore delivery centers
  • Experience in supporting the development, implementation, and deployment of innovative go-to-market strategies (supporting sales and marketing initiatives) across large scale services-based opportunities
  • BA/BS degree or relevant technology business leadership experience. Master’s degree preferred
