Business Continuity Internship

The Business Continuity Intern will support the Brown-Forman Risk Management Department.

This position is Hybrid/ Office role, part time 25 to 30 hours a week.

Business Continuity and Crisis Management

  • Manage execution of xMatters mass communications program for Commercial and Production operations. Maximize Business Continuity tool usage within xMatters. Troubleshoot issues with xMatters service desk or internally with HRIT integration

  • Develop and track completion of emergency response plan tabletop simulations (2xper year per site). Provide improvement suggestions to Emergency Response Plans with audits. Develop tracking tools and track to completion.

  • Develop a list of (Incident Response Teams) IRT’s by market / production site and create a change management tool for when a member leaves an IRT due to termination, leaving the company or changing jobs. Create a database of IRTs and members for internal website.

  • Partner with production sites for Business Continuity plan annual review and continuous improvement. Track to completion and review for insurance required information inclusion

  • Participate in Business Impact Analysis execution and add data to Salesforce Business Continuity Program tool

  • Help develop simulation materials for all tabletop and live simulations. Refresh templates and create repository. Create graphics and fake social media posts as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Senior in Business Administration or MBA student
  • University of Louisville or Bellarmine University
  • Aptitude in Google tools suite, Canva, Photoshop
