Meaningful Work From Day One:

Events, Education & Training –

  • Partners with FMM’s, focusing on “key” event needs.

  • Ensures appropriate targeting and coordination of BF presence at large-scale consumer and trade brand events in the region.

  • Trains and educates distributor and agency partners on B-F portfolio.

  • Plans and coordinates distillery representative market visits.

  • Facilitates Home Place visits for market customers and guests.

Key Account & Consumer Development - Establish positive customer rapport in assigned accounts and with key distributor sales & management personnel.

  • Sell-in and execute National Sales Programs and assist in the development of Regional Programs.

  • Execute sponsorship or partnership activation that is within assigned accounts.

  • Lead the agency teams to activate brand and account goals.

  • Champions the effort in winning at the point of purchase, by building lasting trade relationships and working unusual hours including late nights and weekends.

  • Connects with multiple external contacts including the distributor, retailers, bartenders, wait staff, promotion agencies (Greenhouse/Hive) and consumers.

Distributor Management/Planning & Evaluation –

  • Manage priorities and assigned budgeting to deliver desired goals in key accounts.

  • Monitors brand performancewith the expectation of exceeding market segment trends

  • Participates in on-going planning meetings with internal and external stakeholders as required.

  • Manage and maintain budgets.

  • Leads in guiding the distributor to implement and execute BF imperatives and execute brand objectives and goals.

  • Responsible for aligning brand programming, priorities, pricing, POS in a concise and easy to execute format.

  • Lead in development of SEE KPI’s and holding the distributor accountable to execute KPI’s.

  • Lead product training for Distributor and Trade personnel.

  • Participate in distributor sales meetings

  • Collaborate with key distributor contacts (Division Managers, Area Managers, District Managers, Specialists, Salespeople) to drive B-F portfolio of brands focus and execution in market & key accounts.

  • Partners with BF National/Regional distributor account team to ensure distributor execution of retail programs.

  • Work to encompass the development of brand building plans that are successfully executed in collaboration with the distributor.

What Exactly Are We Looking For?

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 5-7 years sales experience (Beverage Alcohol Industry preferred).

  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and maintain effective working relationships with distributors and accounts and all internal stakeholders.

  • Excellent manager and developer of people: demonstrated commitment to providing regular, constructive feedback to business partners; demonstrated coaching ability; ability to objectively assess both skills and potential.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of on-premise business and three-tier distribution system

  • Action-oriented: Responds in a timely and effective manner to business issues and opportunities.

  • Highly organized: capable of meeting multiple deadlines and juggling multiple projects.

  • Literate with word processing programs (Microsoft, Google), spreadsheet programs (Microsoft, Google), and presentation programs (Microsoft, Google).

  • Must be able and willing to travel (by air and car) up to 30% of the time.

  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.

  • Must be able to work weekends and nights as needed to perform responsibilities of the job including brand activations and marketing initiatives.

  • Must have valid state driver’s license.
