The Cisco Meraki team is seeking a driven Technical Marketing Engineer to support product management for a key area of investment - Network Admission Control (NAC).

Meraki is changing the way the industry thinks about the interaction between networking and security, and you can be a key part of this change. We need your help to collaborate with forward-thinking engineers and customers to ensure that our product solves customer problems in this highly complex area in ways that are easily deployable. Together, we will make this product stand out in a growing and highly complex market.

Said simply, you will be the technical product expert for NAC and continually push for the best possible solution to customer problems, using consensus building between all teams to achieve this.

As a critical member of the product team, your responsibilities include:
* Serving as the authority and key technical advisor for all current and future capabilities
* Working with engineering teams through design, testing, and product launch; running beta and pilot programs
* Following technology trends and understanding market direction to promote adoption of new features that solve customer problems
* Working with Product Marketing to raise technical awareness among our sales and channel teams
* Partnering with Sales Engineers on solving customer use cases through pre-sales engagement
* Preparing and presenting content to partners, customers, and executives
* Working with ecosystem partners to validate inter-operation and successful solution development
* Producing technical guides, standard methodology documents, and configuration and installation content for internal and external use
* Tracking post-sales product feedback and quality by collaborating closely with Support and Escalations teams

Qualifications:

* Familiar with Zero Trust Security architectures
* Solid understanding of authentication flows including RADIUS, 802.1X, LDAP, AD, SAML/SSO, and PKI
* 6-8 years of work experience with Routing, Switching, and/or Security network technologies, preferably in an Enterprise environment
* CCIE routing/switching/security/wireless or equivalent-level certifications are preferred
* Experience in technical marketing, technical support, product testing, pre-sales/post-sales engineering, or QA, is highly preferred
* Passion for learning about networking, cloud, security, and emerging technologies
* Strong user empathy with a deep desire to understand top customer problems
* Ease in communicating complicated concepts to non-technical people
* Ambitious, can-do attitude with a strong sense of product quality
* Love of solving technical problems in creative ways
* Degree in CS, EE, or a related technical field
