Meraki is seeking an expert Technical Program Manager for driving UX initiatives spanning across the Meraki product portfolio. As a Technical Program Manager, you will work closely with our UX/Design, Engineering, Product Management and other partner teams to shepherd through all phases of development. Our goal is to deliver high quality products on time and within budget.

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Lead UX programs holistically across Meraki software engineering organization
  • ​​Partner with design and research leads and provide input with regard to scope, resourcing and sequencing of work for complex, transformational programs
  • Coordinate and facilitate UX activities throughout project lifecycle for a variety of initiatives
  • Act as liaison between UX, Engineering and Product, ensuring that interdependencies are understood and planned for
  • Schedule and facilitate kickoffs, internal and cross-functional design reviews, standups, retrospectives and handoffs with product and engineering
  • Advocate for customer focused UX/design to be built into Meraki product solutions
  • Build and drive program plan with well run dependencies and team member alignment
  • Implement and track program scheduling, work you're doing, achievement, action items, technical dependencies, risks, and mitigation plans across all engineering teams
  • Work with engineers, product managers, and other program managers to define priorities
  • Understand product use cases and communicate technically with engineering and product teams
  • Develop strong working relationships with multi-functional teams to best understand and deliver on business goals and priorities
  • Prepare program status reports and executive briefings for various partner groups
  • Adhere to metrics and governance for Meraki’s process and drive process improvements
  • Proactively assess risk, raise flags, and seek to resolve issues that come up over course of a project

You are ideal for this role if you have:

  • Bachelors or higher degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience in software engineering
  • 10+proven experience as Program Manager in UX/design, software, embedded, networking, cloud technologies or products
  • Experience leading UX projects with various project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall…), with a passion to drive towards more agile practices
  • 5+ years of experience as Program Manager specifically in delivering software products
  • Proven track record of delivering high quality products to achieve target success
  • Strong understanding of software development processes and Agile methodologies
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Experience working with project planning tools (Jira, Wrike, Confluence, Google Docs)
  • Appetite for rapid changes and comfort with navigating through uncertain/ambiguous situations
  • Experience working in an agile (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) environment
