The MR Insight team is building a next generation cloud-based analytics platform to troubleshoot WiFi connectivity and performance issues in Meraki networks. WiFi is notoriously difficult to debug, especially in complex enterprise environments. We leverage telemetry from millions of devices in the field to give customers intuitive insights about their wireless deployments and solve network issues in real time with proactive recommendations. This growing team of full stack, firmware, and machine learning engineers provides a unique opportunity to build impactful solutions while broadening your technical skill set. The team works on a wide range of both engineering and PM driven solutions that build customer visible solutions to alleviate problems in their networks.

What you will do:

  • Propose, design and develop tools for customers to configure and monitor networking devices all over the world.
  • Develop firmware to extract rich wireless telemetry from devices in customer networks and ship them to the backend.
  • Design and develop new features to support the growth of the wireless health features.
  • Identify and solve performance bottlenecks in firmware to ensure health features do not affect the data plane.

You are an ideal candidate if you:

  • Have 3+ years of experience writing professional production code in C/C++.
  • Have experience developing and troubleshooting in a Linux environment.
  • Have understanding of OS fundamentals and experience working in both kernel space and user space.
  • Aren’t afraid of rolling your sleeves up and working in all layers of the stack.
  • Would thrive in a small engineering team and are excited to solve open-ended problems across the stack.
  • Would be excited to join a people-focused team, and look forward to contributing time to help your teammates.
  • Would take a focused, organized approach to development, testing, and monitoring.

Bonus points for:

  • Have working knowledge of network protocols used on both local and wide-area networks.
  • Have experience with full stack development (dashboard and/or backend).
  • Personal projects or contributions to open-source projects.

Compensation Range:
$137,000$203,000 USD
