Responsible for writing policies, standards, and procedures for the Discover’s Corporate Risk Management programs including the consumer compliance, enterprise risk management, financial crimes compliance, and operational risk management programs.Partners with Corporate Risk Management subject matter experts to draft, socialize, approve, and publish risk management policies, standards, and procedures.Responsible for responding to regulatory exam, audit, and testing requests for risk management policies and standards.Acts as a subject matter expert on the Discover’s policy governance and oversight program.Identifies and drives risk and control driven improvement efforts for the policy governance and oversight program.Monitors issue resolutions to identify gaps and drives the appropriate solutions.

              Minimum Qualifications

              At a minimum, here is what we need from you:

                Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field; and

                  6+ years of experience in a compliance department, multiple business function, or other internal control function at a financial services company, or related field

                    In lieu of a degree, 10+ years of experience in a compliance department, multiple business function, or other internal control function at a financial services company, or related field

                    Preferred Qualifications

                    If we had our say, we would also look for:

                      Technical writing experience

                        CRCM, CAMS, CGSS

                          Master's Degree in Business, or related field

                            8+ years ofexperience in a compliance department, multiple business function, or other internal control function at a financial services company, or related field
