As a Senior Technical Program manager on the Data Platform team, you will be accountable for driving the delivery of business solutions that improve business processes, surface measurable insights, and support executive decision-making. You will be a highly effective communicator with a strong desire to enable and guide the direction of the team.

What you’ll do:

  • Own technical product delivery for multi-functional projects for multiple delivery teams while driving team velocity.
  • Define, plan, track, coordinate and communicate product development work and status across sprints and agile development teams.
  • Develop detailed technical specifications that satisfy business requirements, as well as reliability and performance goals.
  • Participate in and lead daily stand-ups and sprint demos, as required.
  • Facilitate coordination and roadmap sync between product and development teams.
  • Drive engineering practices, end to end testing and verification of business features across all impacted teams.
  • Work closely with product management, business partners, engineering teams and leadership across organizations.
  • Manage risks, technical constraints and influence overall delivery timelines.
  • Effectively manage customer expectations and resolve conflicts that balance customer, Brand and technology needs
  • Lead communications and relationships with partners throughout the Expedia organization.

Who you are:

  • Experience as a Technical Program Manager and in a technical domain
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Delivery of a minimum of 3-4 large, multi-functional programs
  • Excellent interpersonal and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter, accustomed to working in a changing environment
  • Experience building project plans, requirements specifications and performing data analysis
  • Validated experience delivering production features with multi-functional partner teams
  • Shown ability to bring together and turn business requirements into user stories, epics, and technical requirements and drive discussions among multiple business and technical teams to scope and schedule effort
  • Experience with CI/CD framework and related tools, Big data, cloud computing, traffic management, and analysis, project management tools, web technologies and SOA (Service Oriented Architecture)
  • Experience collaborating with Developers, Technical Product Managers, UX Designers, Product Managers and other team members from broad cross-sections of organizations
  • Experience using Business Intelligence and data visualization tools such as Looker or Tableau preferred
