The Platform as a Product (PaaP) team is at the heart of Expedia Group’s mission to power global travel for everyone, everywhere. Platform as a Product (PaaP) sets the vision and execution for the externalization of the EG suite of travel services for developers, one in which they can authenticate, validate and configure their own unique travel solutions.

We are looking for a high-performing Principal Program Manager of Product Operations to join our Product Leadership team, reporting to the VP of Product. You will define planning and execution standards and lead transformation efforts across the group. You will simplify processes, drive efficiency, and ultimately help create a culture of excellence for the product craft and science.

What you’ll do:-

  • Work across Product and Technology functions to ensure alignment and efficiency

  • Design and implement operating standards for how workstreams and programs should be led, tracked, and executed

  • Organize and motivate teams to deliver against our objectives and key results, and driving decision making

  • Work with and train other Product team members to develop processes and standard methodologies to support the Product function

  • Set up and maintain portfolio and program management tools

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for PaaP for cross company intake, Product Reviews, and Product Planning standardization forums

  • Evangelize the platform and guide other teams to enable their product vision while maintaining the overall Conversational Experience quality

  • Help lead the organization through change, evolution, and growth

Who you are:

  • 8+ years ofProductManagement or related experience in a forward-thinking,agileteam environment

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or a related Technical field; MBA or Equivalent related professional experience

  • Deep experience both leading teams through the software development lifecycle and understanding how the product discipline adds value throughout

  • Raise the bar on product management discipline by creating and optimizing standards and processes - you will represent our group and contribute to Learning and Development initiatives including Expedia’s Product Academy

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a highly collaborative environment with heavy emphasis on partnership

  • Experience driving strategic initiatives while engaging and collaborating with multi-discipline teams and leaders

  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, including concise verbal and written executive-level communications
