Senior Merchandiser, New Partner Onboarding & Migrations

The Senior Merchandiser is responsible for executing the onboarding and migration of Expedia Group’s white label partners with the goal of creating exceptional travel experiences that deliver on the partner brand. This includes everything from developing migration plans, working across tech and product to identify gaps and opportunities, expertly using internal tools to build site experiences and developing processes to help it all run smoothly. This is an exciting role within Expedia Group with a lot of opportunity to make an impact on partner experience!


What you’ll do:

  • Implement site merchandising and promotional strategies for our partners when they initially launch their white label template sites. This role will manage all implementation aspects internally, such as coordinating marketing requirements with account managers, marketing channels, suppliers, creative and production teams

  • Lead the platform migration execution for white label template partners including understanding the requirements for each partner, identifying and surfacing potential gaps or blockers and leveraging internal tools to execute

  • Become an expert user of our merchandising tools, such as content management solutions, inventory management, analytics and reporting tools

  • Ensure the final design and execution of our partner websites meet expectations and identify opportunities for optimization

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to develop cross team processes that enable clear communication and create efficiencies across teams

  • Work with the account management team to support partner contracts and merchandising opportunities, as well as proactively sourcing inventory to meet traveler demand

Who you are:

  • 2+ years’ experience in digital marketing/merchandising or promotional activity in consumer e-commerce or travel

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field; or equivalent related professional experience

  • A passion for using technology to drive marketing initiatives by building campaigns that drive results

  • Experience in using content management systems, Excel, Adobe Analytics or similar analytics measuring tools

  • Strong attention to detail, best in class organizational, stakeholder management and communication skills

  • Experience working with product and tech teams and although you may not be a tech expert you have the ability to translate tech speak into marketing outcomes and vice versa

  • Experience partnering with channel marketing, creative and merchandising teams

  • Have an eye for brand and design ensuring our final execution meets partner brand expectations

  • Dedicated to continuously improving the customer experience throughthe creation ofrelevant marketing content and experiences
