As a software developer within Commerce Data and Finance Systems (CDFS) group you will be instrumental in building API first driven solutions that are flexible and scalable enough to meet the demands of our strategic growth initiatives across the B2B Finance landscape.

What you’ll do:

  • Play a major role in the analysis, design, and development of applications in Oracle e-Business suite

  • Be instrumental in building API first driven solutions that are flexible and scalable enough to meet the demands of our strategic growth initiatives across the Finance landscape

  • You will collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to produce efficient and scalable solutions

  • Focus on improving development and architecture standards by adopting industry standard methodologies

  • Demonstrate experience to work through/around blocking events and deploy complex yet elegant and efficient solutions

  • Utilizing experience to implement innovative approaches to help improve business processes and system performance

  • Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritize workload effectively, and thrive in a dynamic environment

Who you are:

  • Possess at least 5 years of working experience in developing solutions preferably in financial domain

  • Highly self-motivated, detail oriented and committed individual with an ability to take up initiatives and execute tasks with full ownership and able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment with minimal direction

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise software development in Oracle Financials R12 (preferably General Ledger/ Procure to Pay/Cash Management)

  • At least 1 end-to-end Oracle implementation

  • Able to demonstrate strong programming knowledge and experience in PL/SQL, SQL with experience in RDBMS, SQL tuning and high-volume data processing

  • Developer with working experience in Oracle tools like Workflow, BI Publisher and WebADI

  • Experience in frontend frameworks i.e., Oracle Applications Framework (OAF) or Applications Development Framework (ADF) for building new self-service UI’s or extending standard UI’s, is preferred

  • Java programming experience in developing RESTful API(web services) in cloud and on premises environments using frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot etc., is highly preferred

  • Experience with native AWS services such as EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, Cloud Watch, API Gateway preferable

  • Familiar with data flows, high volume transactional systems, micro service design, continuous delivery, automated deployments, and related engineering practices
