Have a passion for IT, compliance and travel? We are seeking a highly-motivated/ethical, self-starting IT SOX Compliance Senior Manager to work on our SOX Compliance Team!
In this global role, our team members are critical to helping Expedia Group address SOX compliance responsibilities and risks in business and technology processes. The work requires proficiency in SOX compliance. It requires knowledge of various control frameworks, including COSO and COBIT, and experience in designing and evaluating internal SOX control environments.

What You'll Do
Execute the coordination of the Company's SOX compliance efforts today by partnering with control owners and controllership teams, Corporate Audit Services (CAS) Co Source testing partners and external auditors, collectively SOX Partners, including execution of the project plan, reporting, training and communications;
Consciously include shared services, controllership teams and control owners to force simplicity in our SOX control design related to new products, or changes to processes and systems;
Educate, evaluate and advise business partners on SOX risks, controls, and mitigation in a large, sophisticated and constantly evolving environment;
Bring others together to ensure that SOX risks and controls are appropriately considered, identified early and proactively handled in the project/software development lifecycle;
Collaborate with SOX partners to resolve/remediate control deficiencies;
Develop and maintain an understanding of the various internal control frameworks (COSO and COBIT) and processes to identify risks;
Understand the information technology general controls (ITGC) structure and its application to Expedia Group (systems, applications and architecture) and be able to apply that knowledge to how it supports the processes and procedures;
Build and distribute of various SOX reporting documents, including the annual assessment report of internal control over financial reporting (ICFR);
Execute the quarterly and annual SOX certifications process;
Assist in the management of the SOX administration software (JIRA & Confluence);
Choose fearlessly to continuously drive improvement and change in the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the program.
Who You Are
Bachelor's or graduate degree in Accounting, Information Technology, or Computer Science strongly preferred;
Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience with large, sophisticated and constantly evolving organizations;
Public accounting experience with Fortune 500 clients and/or multi-national, Fortune 500 company experience with CPA/CA, CIA, and/or CISA, preferred;
Knowledge and experience with control design and evaluation for operational efficiency;
Solid demonstration of documentation with ITGC controls across domains such as logical access, change management, IT operations and application controls to support SOX requirements, including creation of process flows and risk and control matrices;
Knowledge of SOX applied to IT, including Hybrid and AWS environments, Oracle ERP systems, and systems implementations, preferred;
Knowledge of COBIT, ITIL, ISO, IT General Computer Controls (GCC) required;
Experience with Sailpoint IIQ, Jira, Confluence, GitHub and AWS preferred;
Outstanding interpersonal communication, organizational, and project management skills required;
Ability to build trust and foster relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders within engineering, compliance and finance, and work towards achieving common goals.

Candidates must be available to travel domestically and internationally (up to 10%)
