Do you enjoy building a strong controls environment? You will drive external SOX compliance and proactive risk assessments for P&M. We are looking for someone who is strong in building business relationship and create SOX compliance excellence! Together, we will collaborate across the functions within P&M organization and be front-line liaise with Corporate Audit Services (CAS) team and external auditors.
What you’ll do:
Gain a deep understanding and knowledge of the assigned division’s SOX risks and controls
Critically assess the design of the controls and understand the underlying technology
Assist the control owners during walk-thrus and testing and help with any blocking issue of requests
Help to drive SOX deficiencies to closure
Assist with changes to controls, either due to system, process, and/or people changes
Collaborate and coordinate activities with the internal SOX Compliance team where needed
Build trust and maintain positive relationships with internal partners with your key partners
Who you are:
Experience on Accounting/Finance, Management Information Systems or equivalent
2-3 years of SOX audit experience including IT, cloud risk, and controls
CPA, CISA, CISSP or similar certification a plus
Able to business partner across the organization (CAS, tech, operations, EPS teams)
Strong IT technical skills including application/database/cloud security
Recent technology experience or other fast paced environment is required
Must be detailed oriented; able to work independently and collaborate with other divisions across EG
Self-motivated and curiosity to learn
