As part of the Expedia Media Solutions Product team, we build elite performance advertising products across our global family of brands, properties and platforms. You will own our industry-leading performance marketing product and new, innovative initiatives, as well. This role is responsible for all aspects of product management for performance advertising – product development, reporting needs, developing infrastructure support that scales, positioning and portfolio expansion.

You will be at the helm of developing and deploying data-driven advertising performance product solutions. You will evolve our strategic vision; will own our performance ad roadmaps – creating solutions that are great for customers and advertisers, as well as all needed infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and scalability. You are critical internally across business units and this role requires a strong operational mindset, with the ability to infuse innovation and thought leadership into work streams to create and evolve the media that can scale across Expedia Group.

What you'll do:

  • Balance advertiser requirements and consumer experience to build best-in-class ecommerce travel advertising products
  • Lead build out of scalable and flexible infrastructure to support expansion of performance products across desktop, mobile web and mobile apps
  • Manage multiple projects and details without losing site of the ‘big picture’
  • Be self-directed and able to move forward in a fast-paced, somewhat ambiguous environment
  • Engage with engineering teams to plan and deploy products

  • Be a tireless advocate for Media Solutions interests and values in every interaction throughout the organization
  • Be self-directed and able to move forward in a fast-paced, somewhat ambiguous environment where processes and procedures are not always completely documented
  • Relevant work experience in online advertising, business management and/or product development
  • Lead Travelads relationships with internal and external partners
  • Mentor and coach other team members

Who you are:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting across all levels of the organization and with external partners
  • Strong eye for detail, with a natural drive to dig deep to thoroughly understand an issue before recommending a solution
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a demonstrated ability to use numbers and metrics to back up assumptions and evaluate outcomes; experience with financial modeling and statistics is a plus
  • Proven ability to work with multiple internal organizations requiring clear communication, evangelism and compromise
  • Experience working directly with sales, engineering, analytics and operations teams
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced dynamic environment across various teams and time zones, with a strong bias for action
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting across all levels of the organization and with external partners
  • Understanding of paid search / CPC advertising a plus
