Marketing Copywriter

We drive awareness and engagement of our opportunities for partners through our B2B marketing team, largely through compelling content based on insights.

Are you a strong writer who can turn data, research, and solutions into compelling B2B marketing content? We’re looking for a copywriter to write and edit content to drive Expedia Group acquisition, retention, growth, and preference with our various partner audiences. Are you looking for opportunities to flex your writing across multiple formats and channels? You will write and/or edit research and data-driven reports and white papers, audience and product guides, event collateral, website copy, marketing emails, and more.

This role will be part of Expedia Group’s B2B marketing team within the in-house creative studio, and will work closely with brand and creative, content strategy, industry and communications, and product and sales marketing teams.

What you’ll do:

  • Write, edit, proof, and finalize various types of B2B marketing content across channels and for various partner audiences

  • Use original global research and first-party data to write reports, e-books, white papers, audience and product guides, case studies, and more

  • Write in a way that supports our brand voice and tailor the tone and approach to engage readers across multiple audience segments

  • Collaborate with content strategy, visual designers, channel owners, and marketing stakeholders to produce assets for multiple marketing channels

  • Integrate SEO keywords into content and support opportunities to optimize content and update and repurpose existing content to meet team needs

Who you are:

  • An outstanding copywriter who also possesses keen copyediting skills to maintain a high bar for brand style, grammar, spelling and punctuation

  • An eye for detail and an appreciation for how visual design can enhance content assets

  • Experience writing B2B content and a keen grasp of how to write for multiple audiences across a variety of marketing channels

  • Thrive on crafting content based on data, research, insights and customer stories

  • An affinity for managing several projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

  • A willingness to be agile and tackle the ad hoc as needed, ideally with grace and humor

  • A collaborative approach, working as a team player across functions and with partners

  • Experience identifying and applying SEO keywords and other content optimization opportunities

  • Experience building content on websites; familiarity with WordPress or other CMS platforms

  • A background in writing content for digital, technology and/or travel industries is preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or equivalent professional experience
