Operations Analyst, Partner Payment Operations
This is an Operations Analyst role on a high-performing team with opportunity to serve your group and internal customers in Partner Payment Operations (PPO) on a global scale through reporting and analysis of large and complex data sets, process improvement and automation, and project support.
What you’ll do:
Deliver operational reporting, dashboards, queries, and analysis utilizing internal tools and databases such as Oracle, SQL, Excel, Tableau, OBI, etc
Collaborate with others across disciplines to translate business processes into holistic technical solutions to solve the most complex and uncommon issues; ensure alignment between structure, people, process, and technology
Conduct workflow analysis and implement process improvement ideas for operations, emphasizing an automation first approach utilizing robotic process automation, Power Automate, Python, and other scripting methods
Lead improvements of chronic issues or product opportunities by partnering with key stakeholders
Implement solutions based on advanced knowledge of operations processes and previous experiences
Break down complex information (e.g., legal, risk, and regulatory data) into understandable terminology and actionable concepts
Serve as subject matter expert (SME) and/or administrator of internal systems and productivity tools (Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, etc.)
Drive and document project activities, communication, and approvals through the Jira or Confluence project plan
Drive strategy and consistency of reporting practices across PPO org
Serve as voice of PPO by maintaining key relationships with partners such as Product, Program, Tech, and Business Intelligence teams; establish and maintain communication channels and prioritization efforts
Draft up Business Cases with solid motivation and communication via Power Point or similar presentation tools, to deliver message across leadership levels.
Who you are:
3+ years of experience in financial and/or operational accounting in a mid to large company; understanding of business processes, budget, and forecasting
2+ years of technical analysis experience in a customer support environment
Takes initiative, is self-motivated, and results oriented
Curious and constantly ask “why?” Love to solve problems, find root-causes, push for constant improvement, and utilize the right mix of data and wisdom to make smart business decisions
Skilled at translating technical terms to business operations as well as business processes into technical solutions
Strong analytical skills coupled with attention to detail
Values continuous learning and self-improvement; educates self and others on new offerings, functionality, skills, etc. related to O365, process automation, and query/visualization tools
Strong skills in Excel and Power Point
Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence others at all levels
