Expedia Group’s Partner Product organization empowers partners to power great travel experiences and is responsible for building the end-to-end supply partner experience for all our brands and across all lines of business. Our mission to Power Travel for Everyone, Everywhere, will be enabled further by this critical product leader who will develop our supply partner product strategy for Expedia Group across our Transportation (Air, Car, Cruise, Ground) and Activities product lines.
The VP, Product, Supply Partner will be responsible for delivering end-to-end capabilities to our partners such as data insights, API enhancements and machine learning solutions that will enhance the long-term growth and health of the Expedia Group marketplace and transform the way we build our platform capabilities around pricing, availability, and connectivity. This leader will work closely with our distribution and supply product teams to find synergies between inventory, reservations, offers, and pricing capabilities and identify how we will bring them to life through our interactions with partners.
What You’ll Do:
Industry Thought Leader: Be a thought leader in the transportation product space bringing in key industry insights and technical expertise in connectivity to grow revenues and margin for EG’s transportation and activities businesses.
People leader: Lead the product team responsible for developing the products and vision for our Transportation & Activities priorities including API connectivity to key partners like airlines, cruise providers, car rentals etc. Build and lead an engaged and inspired organization of top talent that drives innovation.
Technologist and Platform Thinker: Define the partner facing offerings roadmap for multiple product lines. Monitor platform health across lines of business and drive outcomes. Build and execute a holistic product strategy and roadmap for API Connectivity, Data Insights and ML Solutions.
Strong collaborator: Collaborate with key peer teams within Expedia to optimize our solutions (eCommerce, AI/Data Platform, Partner Experiences, Design) to deliver an incredible partner experience and enable your consumer product partners to deliver great shopping experiences
Own a P&L: Maintain budget and forecasting, planning, as measured against the strategy.
Who You Are:
An execution-oriented proven product management leader capable of driving high-impact initiatives that deliver meaningful business results.
Have expertise in travel and/or connectivity solutions.
A data-driven storyteller: able to build and articulate a vision and translating it into an executable strategy, leading with data and insights
Able to juggle multiple priorities with a high degree of flexibility and accountability, in a constantly fast-evolving environment, with a strong bias for action
Ability to motivate and generate enthusiasm with individuals across all levels of the organization
