What you’ll do:

  • Work with business partners to balance business and technical objectives and manifest these as clear, stable priorities for the team

  • Turn high-level project objectives into a comprehensive set of stories by leading intensive, multi-discipline, collaborative sessions

  • Effectively manage trade-offs between cost/schedule versus business benefit Work with developers, testers, other technical teams, vendors and operations during implementation to facilitate solutions to issues in order to get features released to live site and drive problem resolution once the new feature has gone live

  • Clearly communicate project updates, risks and issues to partners and senior management

  • Understand and actively advance standard methodologies (e.g. Agile/Scrum, Continuous Delivery)

  • Actively contribute to our team's culture of having fun together, embracing change, and delivering

Who you are:

  • Technical degree and 5+ years in a technical project management or product management role

  • High degree of proficiency with project management including: issue and risk identification and management, tracking dependencies and achievements, and communication of overall project status.

  • Ability to creatively tackle complicated business/technology problems

  • Ability to run multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritize workload effectively, and thrive in a dynamic and sophisticated environment

  • Strong eye for business

  • Experience with large scale, complex, multi-tier, web applications.

  • Passion for the customer experience

  • Experience with the full SDLC and shipping software using Agile methodologies

  • Proven ability to work with multi-functional teams to drive the implementation of new features as well as resolve operational issues

  • Familiarity with web-based product development and understanding of typical technology architecture for high volume web sites

  • Experience tailoring communications (content focus, style, format, etc.) for different audiences as appropriate.

  • Ability to think big and get into the details, as needed
