Sr Manager, Segment Marketing

Expedia Group is looking for an experienced senior marketing manager with expertise in lifecycle marketing focused on trigger-based communications and retargeting programs. We are seeking someone who is highly innovative and will champion change, working on targeted, engaging campaigns across Email, In Product, Push, and SMS.
As a Sr. Manager, you will help develop a strategy and optimization roadmap for key programs focused on driving conversion and upsell/cross-sell opportunities across all Expedia Group brands. You will be a critical partner in driving the CRM platform capabilities to scale personalized content and offers. This role will be responsible for driving the E2E communications strategy for a designated/focus area and drive loyalty/membership and app KPIs.
What you’ll do:
Develop strategic plan for designated segments based on insights, research, ideation, KPIs and objectives
Quarterly prioritization planning aligning with Performance & Planning, Operations and other Segment Leads
Manage 2-3 direct reports and departmental activities with the responsibility for results, including costs, strategy and staffing
Impact functional strategy and determines the team strategy to accomplish team/departmental goals
Consistently applies -and regularly enhances - the customer engagement marketing capabilities, testing principles and playbooks to tackle the most complex business challenges and opportunities
Work with cross functional platform, product and tech teams to surface new capabilities and define requirements for driving scale through ML and automation
Provide support and deep expertise to several areas and may directly manage people managers as well as individual contributors. Interfaces regularly with executive (VP+) leadership.
Coordinates project plan across functions and competing timelines from other projects; leads development of strategies to get assigned project done amidst opposing needs for resources and development external to the project being delivered.
Who you are:
7+ years of strategic CRM/channel marketing, communication management or other related and relevant experience
Demonstrated ability to drive impact individually and through cross-group collaboration
Successfully able to navigate and drive results cross-functionally
Demonstrated project management skills coordinating deliverables across several stakeholders and organizations
End-to-end customer engagement communications management
High level of organization, strong attention to detail
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field; or equivalent related professional experience
Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
Solid relationship, communication skills
Innovativeness and flexibility in solving problems
