We are looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to join our team within the Consumer Product organization to lead product marketing initiatives for a new suite of features that will change the way consumers shop for travel.

In this role, you will help develop insights that will be used to guide product development, cultivate collaborative partnerships across teams, and craft and execute go-to-market strategies. Through relevant and compelling product positioning and messaging, you will help bring our products and features to life for our customer to drive adoption and growth. You will develop a deep understanding of Expedia’s core lines of business and use data to develop insights and support decisions. You will champion customer-centric products with product teams, and communicate the product and vision to the Marketing organization who will activate their channels. As a leader, you have experience diving into a complex ecosystem of buyers and internal stakeholders, and excel at communication, storytelling, and driving adoption across the organization.

What You’ll Do:

  • Use insights to craft relevant, benefit-based messaging, positioning, and value propositions that can be leveraged by the global campaign teams, creative, and UX content teams to tell a compelling story that differentiates us in the market.
  • Champion customer needs across the key teams to influence product roadmaps, provide insights, and share expertise to build relationships with Product and Marketing stakeholders.
  • Develop comprehensive go-to-market strategies and launch readiness activities to ensure successful product launches, driving cohesion across the customer journey, product lines, and brands
  • Support go-to-market and readiness activities across the organization
  • Partner with teams across Product and Marketing to drive adoption and usage of key products and features, and make recommendations to optimize growth.
  • Use research, competitive intelligence, and audience intelligence to develop insights and recommendations that center the customer and that can be leveraged by various teams across the organization
  • Create relationships and maintain open communication with cross-functional partners and leaders across Product and Marketing
  • Use deep understanding of the Trips product to effectively communicate the benefits, performance metrics, and vision for the product suite to get buy-in from Leaders across the organization
  • Bring industry best practices to the team and be a champion for product marketing while bringing clarity, simplicity, and accountability

Who You Are:

  • 8+ years of experience in product marketing, product, or brand marketing in a B2C organization, with a minimum of 3 years spent in product marketing leading go-to-market efforts.
  • Experience managing and leading large scale, global product marketing projects.
  • Experienced influencer with executive presence and proven ability to drive consensus across cross-functional teams and senior leaders
  • Ability to conduct market, competitor, and customer research to capture insights and assess market opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to create an impactful narrative and compelling message and value proposition
  • Highly collaborative, and proactive in relationship building among cross-functional counterparts

The total cash range for this position in Austin is $146,000 to $204,500. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $ 233,500, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

The total cash range for this position in Chicago is $138,500 to $194,000. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $221,500, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $146,000.00 to $204,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $233,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
