Are you a driven direct marketing specialist with a passion to shape and execute a large-scale direct customer marketing program?

Expedia Group is looking for a talented direct marketing specialist to join its Traveler Engagement & Loyalty Team. You will be instrumental in defining and optimizing the direction of our truly global direct marketing program and owning the operational execution through channels such as email and app push notifications to drive incremental customer engagement and value.

What you’ll do:

  • Own the development and execution of part of our traveler communications across email, site and app push notifications for our focus markets

  • Deliver traveler communications with a heavy emphasis on customer segmentation, testing & UAT, as well as technical execution

  • Ensure end-to-end delivery of campaigns, with a focus on timely and accurate delivery of communications

  • Own delivery schedule for assigned campaigns, tracking progress and providing updates to partners

  • Maintain campaign documentation and corresponding meetings as needed

  • Work autonomously to come up with solutions to campaign and project issues/blockers

  • Ensure audience segments are built with accuracy and work with partner teams to validate audiences

  • Drive forward creative and executional program optimization’s, owning definition of project/test requirements and working closely with key partners for input and alignment

  • Build productive and trusted relationships with key partners globally across the business

  • Work closely with our internal creative studio to build and optimize a creative, customer first approach

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field; or equivalent related professional experience

  • 3-4 years’ experience in a CRM or direct marketing role with experience of SFMC preferred

  • Experience building and deploying campaigns for email, app Push, and landing page, setting up audience segments, UAT, campaign scheduling and monitoring

  • Development experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, plus working knowledge of SQL and AMPscript, HTML/CSS

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills focusing on clarity and simplicity

  • Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple stakeholders

  • The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team

  • High level of attention to detail

  • Strong time management, prioritization, and problem-solving skills

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Strong collaborative approach to teamwork

  • Enthusiastic and positive attitude with strong desire to drive innovation and change

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $82,500.00 to $115,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $132,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
