Division Overview

Hubbell Commercial & Industrial (HCI) provides solutions for a broad range of non-residential and residential construction, commercial and industrial applications along with high-voltage test and measurement solutions. Position Overview

The primary responsibility of the software engineer is to assist the product development team. This will include building graphical user interfaces for Linux, Windows, and OSX environments; creating software for remote applications in Android, iOS, or PC; interface embedded firmware with electrical circuitry to interface with product controls.

Duties and Responsibilities

Participate in new product design:

  • Prototype design
  • Debugging
  • Failure analysis
  • Engineering documentation
  • Manufacturing documents

Collaborate with marketing, engineering, manufacturing, and sales departments.

Skills and Experience

Software Language Requirements: C++, C#
Software Language Recommended: Qt, SQL, ASP.net, Angular, MPLAB IDE

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Other Technology
