Division Overview

Hubbell Power Systems (HPS) engages in the design and manufacture of a wide variety of products used by utilities. Today, HPS is deeply engaged in product solutions for OSP Communication utility purposes, and has been actively growing that segment of the business. HPS roots have historically been in high voltage transmission, distribution, substation, underground products used by electric utilities. HPS products are also used in the civil construction, transportation, gas and water industries.

Position Overview

The Receiving Clerk is responsible for incoming shipments, verifying shipment records, accepting shipments and distributing materials and parts as outlined by company policies.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Inspects shipments only if an issue is detected from the packing slip and PO.
2. Updates inventory locations when necessary
3. Works with Purchasing to resolve receiving concerns
4. Coordinates large incoming freight to the correct delivery
5. Coordinates RMA receipts and directs them to the next stage.
6. Arranges for removal of waste wood, pallets and recyclable cardboard
7. Ability to run open item reports to validate shipments and missing receipts using SAP.
8. Run daily receiving reports to validate current receipts using SAP.
9. Oversee the cycle counting process to ensure accuracy.

Skills and Experience

1. Knowledge of LM01 transaction in SAP to enter cycle count corrections.
2. Knowledge of MD04 transaction in SAP to research stock issues.
3. Knowledge of LX03 transaction in SAP for cycle count process.
4. Knowledge of MIGO transaction in SAP for entering receipts and correcting stock issues.
5. Knowledge of ME21 transaction in SAP to resolve receiving issues.
6. Knowledge of MRBR transaction in SAP to correct receiving issues to unblock invoices.
7. Knowledge of MB5T transaction in SAP to validate all intercompany shipments.
8. Knowledge of MM02 transaction in SAP and MM03 transaction in SAP to create and adjust WM views.
9. Knowledge of MMBE transaction in SAP to correct inventory discrepancies.
10. Knowledge of LT24 transaction in SAP to validate Transfer orders.
11. Knowledge of MB52 transaction in SAP validate stock on hand.
12. Knowledge of COGI transaction in SAP to correct COGI errors.
13. Knowledge of LRFMD transaction in SAP to maintain RF user Master Data.
14. Knowledge of LL01 transaction in SAP to correct unconfirmed transfer orders, Open Transfer requirements, open posting charge notices, critical deliveries, negative stocks, Interim storage stock without movement, critical stock for production supply.
15. Must understand the full purchasing process from start to finish and how it pertains to receiving and inventory in the warehouse.
16. Basic understanding of material flow and MRP are a plus.
