Position Overview

To assemble quality product in an expedient manner.

Duties and Responsibilities

Operate all surface mount equipment.

  • inspect boards using mantis
  • inspect solder paste using camera
  • assure quality of boards
  • perform daily cleaning
  • repair or rework boards as necessary

Complete required paperwork accurately (ex: control sheet, scrap/shortage sheet)

Inform group leader or supervisor of problems that may arise

Perform all job duties of an Assembler III with special emphasis on board building

Skills and Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of assembly experience

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Requires good hand and eye coordination, finger dexterity, mobility
  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Must be able to distinguish and identify different components/part colors
