Position Overview

Job Summary

Responsible for the movement of materials, supplies and finished goods by manual means or forklift to designated locations within the manufacturing facility.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of duties including but not limited to the receipt and storage of raw material used in the manufacturing facility.
  • Receive daily work assignments from the Director of Mfg., the Project Manager, and the Production Control Supervisors.
  • Operate forklift to pick up and deliver finished goods internally.
  • Complete daily inspection on forklift and report results to the maintenance department.
  • Coordinate and maintain inventory transactions.
  • Maintain acceptable levels of safety, 5S, quality and productivity within cell or department. Regular attendance and punctuality is required
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Experience


  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills normally acquired through a high school diploma or GED.
  • One (1) year experience in material handling, supply and distributions or related area.
  • Must have or be able to obtain forklift certification.
  • Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs; i.e. Excel, Word, and Outlook.
