Division Overview

Hubbell Power Systems (HPS) engages in the design and manufacture of a wide variety of products used by utilities. Today, HPS is deeply engaged in product solutions for OSP Communication utility purposes, and has been actively growing that segment of the business. HPS roots have historically been in high voltage transmission, distribution, substation, underground products used by electric utilities. HPS products are also used in the civil construction, transportation, gas and water industries.

Position Overview

Assemble and perform in-process inspection on Fiber Optic testing Equipment

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assemble parts for finished product from assembly drawings/ work instructions
  • Use hand-tools, soldering irons, or basic machinery to assemble.
  • Other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.

Skills and Experience

Good attendance, good dexterity, able to lift 25 lbs., good with numbers, works well with others, ability to follow instructions, ability to read assembly drawings, good memory retention, energetic, ability to read and write in English

Education

High School Diploma
