Position Overview:
The Supply Chain/ Planner will focus on reporting/data analytics that need to or developed in order to support good decision making. The summer intern will primarily focus on data analytics for supply chain opportunities. This person can lead kaizen event as we would like to see improvements in supplier quality processes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Roles and Responsibilities will vary by Hubbell business location, but may include the following:
- Gained knowledge of the industry as it pertains to the Hubbell business location
- Experience in planning and organizational skills
- Review current program activities to make recommendations for changes/improvement opportunities
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Detailed roles and responsibilities will be outlined dependent on business Group, location and the project outlined
Expectations: The intern will be expected to work full-time at 40 hours/week and will be compensated on an hourly basis.
Skills and Experience:
- Student must be enrolled in an accredited university working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Planning, Business Administration, or related degree
- Basic understanding of Supply Chain and Planning principles
- Minimum GPA requirement of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
