Job Overview
The Quality Technician II is responsible for completing product quality checks to ensure they meet the required legal and company standards for safety and quality.
A Day In The Life
Every day at Hubbell is different and you’ll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you’ll make a difference by:
- Conducts routine testing and analysis of production work.
- Documenting quality control issues as needed.
- Developing and maintaining company inspection reports.
- Ensuring goods and products comply with company standards as well as Federal and State law.
- Ensuring test equipment is calibrated and working correctly.
- Collecting test data and drafting quality reports.
- Identifying possible areas for improvement in quality control processes.
- Ensuring production is not hindered by quality testing procedures.
What will help you thrive in this role?
- High School Diploma
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Relevant quality certification preferred.
- Prior experience as a Quality Technician preferred.
- Understanding of advanced mathematical concepts (required)
- Experience drafting reports and collecting data (required)
- Ability to analyze and interpret technical information.
