Responsibilities

Digital Advisory

Provide consultation and advice to customers across the lifecycle on digital transformation services and solutions. Partner with internal teams early on to help define the customer transition plan to digital.

Responsibilities:

  • Defines new business models for the customer transformation to reshape the customer business, with some guidance from senior team members. Works to understand customer challenges, defines the problem statement, then envisions the digital transformation journey (e.g., through storyboards, roadmaps) to drive change that impacts customers.
  • Identifies the right industry partners and leverages those partnerships to drive the customer digital transformation journey. Articulates and understands specific industry-related market trends, as well as customer threats, opportunities, and barriers to growth as they relate to the customer's broader industry.
  • Ensures execution of technology strategy and/or digital transformation by identifying and resolving technical blockers that arise during strategy planning and implementation and driving technology adoption.
  • Contributes industry and customer insights to inform digital transformation account planning. Participates in small-scale iterative planning discussion rhythms with account technology strategists to discuss transactional elements of account planning.
  • Drives conversations with mid-sized customers that present the strategic relationship between Microsoft technologies and services compared with the competitor's solution and the customer's overall business goals and objectives.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or have completed Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Passion for technology and customer obsessed.
  • Displays strong stakeholder and relationship management across senior leaders, partners, and customers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical and presentation skills. 

The salary for this role in the state of Colorado is from $73,800 to $162,200 (60-62).

At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
