We are looking for a Software Engineer to help build performant, delightful, and important Messaging features, that millions of users see every day!

Responsibilities

  • Design, implementation, and testing of features. 
  • Building user experiences that work great across multiple devices and browsers. 
  • Writing and maintaining unit tests and automated integration tests. 
  • Ideal candidate has the drive and experience build a web frontend to Microsoft Teams.
  • Collaborate with partner teams to meet the engineering goals.
  • Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Help to continuously improve the development process.

Qualifications

 Required

  • 7+ years of experience in software development
  • Engineering experience with large scale complex modern web development stacks in React with Typescript.
  • Strong knowledge of computer science, algorithms and design patterns.  Strong passion for delivering high quality, large scale services.
  • Ability to appreciate complex problems with a thorough design and collaborate with multiple partners on common goals.
  • Experience with unit-test, continuous integration and test driven development
  • BS or MS Degree in Computer Science or related degree
  • Solid design and architecture skills

Preferred 

  • Prior experience in site reliability engineering/dev-ops
  • Experience with .NET, Web Services, Azure is a plus
