Microsoft’s Cloud business is experiencing explosive growth, and the Capacity, Supply Chain & Provisioning (CSCP) organization is responsible for enabling the infrastructure underlying this growth. Our mission is to deliver the world’s computer with an industry-leading supply chain. CSCP is responsible for strategic sourcing, customer demand forecasting, capacity planning and management, supply chain planning and execution, capacity provisioning, and decommissioning and dispositioning of datacenter assets worldwide.

We are looking for a Sr. Business Program Manager who will report to the Chief of Staff (CoS) for CSCP. This candidate will partner closely with stakeholders throughout the organization as well as senior leadership. Responsibilities

Strategic Planning

  • Insights Framework: Build the framework for strategic decisions related to Cloud supply Chain and be able to express a connected e2e strategy
  • Business Rhythms and governance: Run a connected business rhythm process in alignment with all other functions to build-out vision, mission, goals, objectives and key results (OKRs), resources and KPIs
  • Big Picture Alignment: Ensure the Cloud SC vision is aligned to broader organizational level goals and develop partnership and gain alignment for execution. Provide thought leadership into white papers as required that frame CSCP requirements within that larger organization context. Strategic Programs
  • Special Projects As needed, Identify and implement new initiatives with key stakeholders to develop, champion, and launch new initiatives to become a world class supply chain
  • Internal Consultant: Act and operate as an internal consultant, working directly with multiple stakeholders, leaders and management, and various related departments on framing out strategy and executive level messaging.
  • Project Management: Function as the overall PM for projects/ programs from cradle to grave working with the Chief of Staff + Sr. Leaders: business case, scope, cost, schedule, action cycles, risks, issues, decisions, interdependencies and milestones. Cross-Functional Management
  • Decision Making: Build consensus among cross-functional teams and influence decision making with leadership audiences.
  • Build Relationships: Build productive and positive relationships across the organization at all levels to drive influence. Operations
  • Execution: Lead day to day operations and deliver on strategy and operational plans from the planning process against the strategic vision for the company.
  • Operational Cadence/Rhythm of Business: Help drive the rhythm of the business to meet goals and objectives
  • Business Process Improvement: Participate in improving processes to minimize complexities and optimize to promote effective operations. Demonstrate thought leadership and insights on how to improve e2e supply chain processes
  • ROI: Partner with Finance and the business to manage, analyze and review organizational budgets, measure & track ROI, and reconcile and explain discrepancies. Reporting, Metrics, and KPIs
  • Collection & Insights: Gather and analyze data, formulate and test hypotheses, synthesize findings, develop go-forward plans and help drive and translate recommendations into results.
  • Reporting: Author, manage, and deliver executive level reporting as required, including weekly, monthly, quarterly status reports to manage risks and issues and improve team communication and collaboration.
  • OKRs: Partner with the leadership team to develop key OKR’s that tie back to the strategic business plan.
  • Culture & Engagement: Maintain harmony and ensure shared responsibility of business objectives with focus on team development and employee career growth. Communications and Change Management
  • Communication Calendar: Create, manage and maintain specific communications and cadence for All Hands meetings, QBRs, team meetings, ongoing communications, etc.
  • Framework: Establish a structure and cadence of program and function reviews to increase visibility, drive alignment, and resolve blockers.
  • Change Management: Develop strategic change and drive change management and business transformation efforts.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10 years experience in Program Management, Strategy, or Supply Chain
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher or equivalent years of experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry experience working in a large Supply Chain organization understanding E2E business complexities
  • Demonstrated experience leading and executing projects in a complex organizational environment and proven track record on delivering several diverse projects at the same time
  • Demonstrated ability for C-level storytelling
  • Ability to translate ideas into clear, high impact communications (e.g. emails, papers)
  • Knowledge of Hardware Products and Supply Chain
  • Attention to detail, strong at strategic execution and tactical management
  • Successfully collaborates across multiple teams and levels
  • Strong analytical, financial acumen and communication skills with the ability to influence across non-direct reporting teams
  • Ability to maintain good judgment in fast-paced, high-stress environments
  • Ability to excel in an ambiguous environment
  • Microsoft Suite: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.
