The Customer Success Team is a growing organization responsible for helping customers achieve their business outcomes through their investment in Microsoft. As part of Customer Success, our large diverse Cross Solution organization delivers a scalable ecosystem that accelerates customer value and sustainable transformation. We achieve this by providing a connected global experience, enduring relationship management, and state of the art solutions.

We are currently looking for a talented analyst to join the Cross Solutions Success Team. You will play a lead role in driving in-depth analysis, producing insights and recommendations to existing and future Cross Solutions programs. Present findings to leadership and influence stakeholders to adopt your recommendations. As the primary business owner of our data, you will also drive enhancement requirements to our data pipeline and internal reporting, partnering with the various Cross Solutions teams.

  • Perform in-depth analysis using statistical methods and provide recommendations on current and future investments
  • Support business review rhythm with key reporting, insights & analysis for strategic initiatives
  • Work with business stakeholders to build pipeline of business questions and analysis required
  • Build what-if models to understand impact of proposed programs relative to business opportunity & impact
  • Build connections with other analytic & data science teams to amplify & extend scale of work and leverage best practices
  • Support key stakeholders with ad-hoc queries on business metrics
  • Drive design & recommendations of incentives internal reporting experience, define key KPIs, metrics & views


Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years experience in business consulting, sales, sales operations, information technology (IT), account management, business development, marketing, IT field sales, or a related field
    o OR equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years experience in Near Term Strategy (1-2 years out), Management Consulting, or Finance.
  • Demonstrated analytics capabilities: fundamental knowledge in statistical inference & analysis, data visualization & data management. Strong skills in Power BI, DAX, Excel PowerPivot & SQL

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field AND 6+ years marketing, strategy, sales, program management, project management, business planning, consulting, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience
    o OR equivalent experience.
  • 5-10 years of professional experience in business analytics roles
  • Ability to dive deep and quickly develop subject matter expertise and proper business context and bring own point of view
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, particularly the ability to synthesize complex issues and scenarios into easy-to-understand concepts with audiences of all levels
  • Keen ability to build effective relationships with multiple stakeholders
  • Well organized with strong skills in cross-team collaboration
  • Exhibit business curiosity with the ability to act broadly across the Microsoft landscape
  • Exhibit a high degree of self-awareness, professional maturity, and situational leadership
  • Comfortable driving impactful outcomes in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with a forward-thinking mindset

The salary for this role in the state of Colorado is between $129,800 and $194,800.

At Microsoft, certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
