Responsibilities

You will be engaged in designing and implementing game rendering and visualization work for Studio Alpha, including pipelines, shaders, and visual effects. You will collaborate with our design and creative teams to help bring innovative UI and visual effects into our Unreal client, and help the team hit a high visual quality bar.

We are looking for a candidate with solid software and systems engineering skills ready to build and learn new technologies in the 3D GIS, gaming, and modeling and simulation space.

You will be responsible for working with Azure, Unreal, and DirectX to deliver rendering services that are simulation-aware, accurate, and of high visual quality.

Qualifications

Required

  • 2+ years of experience in commercial game engines
  • 2+ years of experience with C++

Preferred

  • Experience working in Azure, GCP or AWS
  • Experience working with containerization technologies (Docker or Kubernetes)
  • Experience with 3D GIS data simulation and modeling
  • Experience creating APIs or SDKs
  • Strong familiarity with Unreal 4.x or 5.x
  • Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills
  • Strong 3D Graphics or Math understanding
