Microsoft’s Technology for Social Impact Team is a full industry vertical team that has been chartered with the mission of bringing the power of technology to every non-profit and humanitarian organization to accelerate Social Good. This organization will bring together our donation and grants programs, industry solutions, commercial sales efforts and partner ecosystems to empower non-profits globally to address the world’s most pressing needs. Profits generated from this business will be reapplied to scaling operations and investments for Microsoft’s public good investments. We are seeking a Finance Manager to join the TSI Finance team for their fastest growing scale business in the SMB segment. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to contribute towards Microsoft’s philanthropic commitment. In this role you will closely partner with the TSI Sales team and contribute to the success of their business, have a blend of typical finance rhythm of business (RoB), enable insightful financial analysis in support of business investment decisions and ROI, and effectively communicate the business narrative.


  • Support rhythm of the business across all the stakeholders with efficiency and effectiveness
  • Evaluate the health of the overall businesses and provide deep insights on solution areas and sales channel
  • Provide actionable insights to the business to ensure healthy execution and accountability for results
  • Support CFO forecast and budgeting process to land growth commitments with clear assumptions and drivers. Understand and manage business risk
  • Communicate results and insights to senior leadership in a compelling and crisp manner with deep understanding of the business
  • Drive actions with stakeholders to achieve business goals including revenue generation, resource allocation, and investment decisions through close collaboration
  • Lead on-going efforts to develop and evolve our insights framework with key partners across finance and business to stay up to date with the business need and land growth opportunity

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 6+ years post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership or Finance work experience
    • OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience
    • OR equivalent experience.


  • Ability to collaborate and be comfortable dealing with ambiguity, influencing across multiple complex organization, and creating effective partnerships.
  • Ability to achieve results through both individual and cross team efforts, to manage multiple projects at the same time, and to work effectively under deadline constraints.
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft commercial products and sales channels
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Go getter. Willing to go the extra mile with a strong work ethic.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling and analysis.
  • Ability to "think outside the box" and not be hindered by how things have been done in the past.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, SQL and Power Pivot.
  • BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or related degrees.
