Principal Program Manager

We are looking for an experienced Principal Manager who can work with strategic Azure ISVs serve Azure customers better. This role offers opportunity to leverage your technical expertise to build delightful Azure native product experience. You will also have opportunity to collaborate with select set of partners, incubate joint offerings and influence joint go-to-market. You’ll be joining a fast paced, collaborative team where you get to actively engage with our customers, champion your product, understand customer’s unmet needs and translate those needs into features that ship every few weeks.


  • Incubate new partnership opportunities to improve Azure developer experience.
  • Manage and champion for customer and partner success.
  • Be a depth expert on our external and internal customers through customer research, data, and strong relationships.
  • Understand and translate customer unmet needs into actionable requirements.
  • Design solutions rapidly through experimentation and direct customer validation.
  • Work with the cross functional teams, including the engineering team, to prioritize and deliver world class Azure experience for our customers.
  • Define and drive metrics around engaged usage and customer success for our tooling products.
  • Drive and plan multiple projects simultaneously, and communicate status to partners, stakeholders, and developer division management.
  • Evangelize your product features in the developer community through docs, samples, blogs, videos, and events


Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years in Technical Product Management
  • BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, and/or a related field  

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience working with technology partners to improve developer experience.
  • Proven track record for defining a technical vision and leading it to demonstrable business results with the product.
  • Scenario and user experience design skills.
  • Hands on experience as a developer, product manager, customer support, consultant or architect for cloud-based applications.
  • Ability to dig deep into technical challenges.
  • Analytical skills required to set future direction and product plans based on data.
  • Strong sense of teamwork, personal integrity, responsibility, and accountability.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer advocate, self-starter and problem solver.
