Are you looking to build Software as a Service (SaaS) applications to enable our business customers to undertake their journeys of digital transformation with the Dynamics 365 Service Cloud? Our team delivers business applications for Customer Service and Omnichannel capabilities (voice, video, SMS, live chat, and social messaging). We are building the next generation of our applications running on Azure that pull together Dynamics 365, Azure Communication Services, Office 365 and many Microsoft cloud services to enable (Omnichannel) communication between customers and support agents leveraging the power of the Intelligent Communication Platform as a Service from Microsoft.
We are looking at filling in the Messaging Infra Engineering manager (M1) role to lead the planet scale Messaging Infrastructure, which is super critical for the Omnichannel product. We are looking for a strong technical leader and people manager who will be responsible for making sure that the infrastructure can handle the demands of high scale hot-path messaging and perform reliably to meet the functional, scale and reliability requirements. The EM would need to align with teams within Omnichannel who owns services that interact with chat sub system, and organizations within Azure Communication services, Service Bus Ex. Given the complexity and increasing high scale needs and demands, The EM would need to lead and coordinate activities across multiple work streams while planning and executing the next level of re-architecture and design work to improve scale, reliability and latency needs.

- Design, develop, test & support providing technical leadership & significant contribution to features, experiences & solutions for end-to-end business scenarios over the full stack using cutting-edge modern development technologies
- Collaborate across diverse engineering teams to solve challenging problems for large-scale business SaaS applications
- Accountability for the quality, usability & performance of features
- Debug and handle customer reported issues
- Manage a team of 5+ software engineers
- Attract, mentor, and retain star engineering talent to the team
- Drive project team planning and execution phases with PM counterpart
- 3+ years experience managing software engineers
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Advanced Sciences
- Prior experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in object-oriented languages and database query languages
- Background with online services and cloud computing
- Database development experience
