We are looking for a Senior data quality manager for our Cloud Supply Chain Transformation. This role is an individual contributor, but with a leadership responsibility to influence, plan, execute, and report up to our supply chain executive leadership team. You will be driving the mission to improve and transform our data quality landscape with the needs of the business stakeholders. You will have the incredible opportunity to influence the way one of the world’s largest and fastest growing cloud environments scales our processes and systems. You must be both technical and operational as this role supports both IT/Systems Engineering and all business functions running the Microsoft Cloud Supply Chain operations. We are looking for an individual with expertise in supply chain processes (procurement/sourcing, forecasting, demand/supply planning, fulfillment, operations/production control, service/warranty, sustainability, etc.) and the master data management required to support these processes. Your familiarity with master data should come with knowledge of how this data is leveraged for transactions in a technical hardware supply chain.

Responsibilities

Analyze business processes (as-is), anticipate requirements, and look for opportunities for improvement
Structure and organize requirements, design, validate, verify information, identify solution options, and estimate the potential value
Validate the solution meets business needs and requirements, remove blockers or barriers to adoption and realizing outlined benefits.
Translate between technical system/software design stakeholders to supply chain business operations subject matter experts
Lay out clear options for decision making representing various stakeholder views, but bias for action
Orchestrates virtual team to commit to deliverables, due dates, and clear accountability for action follow up.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, IT operations, systems engineering, or equivalent experience.

Experience with SAP MDG or MDG S/4 for supply chain, SAP ECC, or ERP.
5+ years experience in a technical hardware supply chain.
5+ years business process experience (For example - value stream mapping, as-is to-be modeling.)

Preferred Qualifications:


5+ years data management and / or data quality management and governance experience.

Master Data Management, Material Master, and Data Governance Experience.
Experience both in an operational supply chain role and in developing IT systems for supply chain functions.
MBA or Engineering Masters.
Demand/Supply planning expertise to a degree that you understand the data flows, planner role, and typical challenges and constraints.
Experience in Supply Chain data efforts such as vendor master, supplier hierarchies, location masters.
Process development/re-engineering experience.
Develop and operationalize data/metrics (e.g., requirements to business results/outcomes).
