Microsoft’s US Marketing & Operations (USM&O) is seeking a Modern Work Product Marketing Manager (PMM) who will be responsible for all the marketing programs supporting the go-to-market strategy for Microsoft Viva to deliver customer & partner success.  The PMM must develop strong partnerships across marketing, partner, services and sales to lead and execute their priorities.

US Marketing & Operations is the ‘Marketing and COO’ function for Microsoft United States (MSUS), also known as the US subsidiary. USM&O executes company strategy and priorities that enable us to achieve our business goals by developing and executing on B2B go-to-market programs, marketing campaigns, and a field operating model. Driving a common operating model across the US subsidiary ensures consistent, measurable execution and landing of priorities. Driving alignment with our internal corporate partners is also critical to our collective success, as is continuing to listen, learn and respond via rapid feedback loops.


Field Enablement

Partners with sales to land field enablement accountability. Serves as an orchestrator between the business and the areas/subsidiaries to develop and land sales programs. Partners with finance and Product Marketing Manager (PMM) teams to ensure team is aligned with business results. Provides thought leadership and clarity to coach and equip the team, channel, and sellers with the knowledge, skills, and resources to sell (e.g., readiness for programs owned by the solution area). Appropriately activates the partner ecosystem to enable and drive results. Identifies failure points and orchestrates resources to mitigate. 

The primary focus of this role will be to be orchestrate the execution and application of worldwide marketing programs within the U.S. field.The programs will be targeted to our field, partners, and/or customers. Examples include workshops, events, offers/promotions, and on-line assessments. To build the programs, you will partner with segment and product teams as needed to proactively drive alignment of program content and customer requirements to maximize ROI and drive revenue and usage growth. 


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years marketing strategy, business planning, sales enablement, business development, technical pre-sales, or related work experience
  • Experience operating at the strategic and execution level with a proven track record of success

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience managing and expanding a product/solution portfolio and driving pipeline acceleration within a complex (e.g., multinational or matrixed) organization
  • Passion for action and delivering results in a fast-paced environment. A strong desire to learn and grow
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive consensus across the business and all levels of the organization
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze business performance, identify market opportunity and develop useful insights from data
  • Strong communication, written, and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for technology and sales with the ability to clearly articulate solutions in a customer-centric manner; knowledge of M365 value proposition and business preferred
  • Ability to handle and thrive in ambiguous business situations

The salary for this role in the state of Colorado is between $129,800 - $194,800

At Microsoft, certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
