Microsoft’s Cloud business is experiencing explosive growth, and the Capacity, Supply Chain & Provisioning (CSCP) organization is responsible for enabling the infrastructure underlying this growth. Our mission is to deliver the world’s computer with an industry-leading supply chain. CSCP is responsible for strategic sourcing, customer demand forecasting, capacity planning and management, supply chain planning and execution, capacity provisioning, and decommissioning and dispositioning of datacenter assets worldwide.


Global Capacity Team manages cloud capacity for customers globally across different resources and regions – Compute, Storage, PaaS services, bare metal services etc. Azure Dedicated Services owns customer capacity experience for Azure Net App and Azure VMWare products globally across 30+ regions and works across multiple teams to drive optimal capacity, improve customer capacity acquisition experience and streamline processes and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Drive customer capacity experience for Azure Dedicated services - Azure Net App files and Azure VMware services globally across 30+ regions.
  • Drive customer capacity metrics and measurements - CSAT, NSAT, SLO, customer quota optimization.
  • Work collaboratively with multiple teams, engineering teams and customer operations teams to drive improvements in process, tools and metrics.
  • Drive customer management system features improvements with multiple engineering teams. Manage customer capacity issues, manage expectations, drive resolutions and drive improvements in processes and systems.

Qualifications

Required

  • BS and/or MS in Engineering disciplines or equivalent years of experience
  • 12+ years of experience in Product/Program and/or Supply chain Operations management areas
  • 8+ of years of extensive Program/Operations management experience in demand planning, customer capacity management and driving product features & capabilities to improve customer experience

Preferred

  • BS and/or MS in Engineering disciplines
  • 15+ years of experience in Product/Program and/or Supply chain Operations management areas
  • Experience in supply chain management and good understanding of different supply chain/distribution models, managing capacity and large, impactful cross team supply chain initiatives
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively manage key stakeholders, resolve problems and seek practical solutions
  • Prior leadership and extensive Program/Operations management experience in demand planning, customer capacity management and driving impactful and measurable product features & capabilities to improve customer experience
  • Prior experience in managing team
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively manage key stakeholders, work across multiple teams, drive and seek practical customer facing solutions

CLOUD SCREENING REQUIREMENT

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
