GPS is looking for a Field Sales Operations Leader, who will play a critical business role to further develop discipline supporting the GPS leadership on strategic, operational, and coaching perspective to achieve results for Microsoft.

The Global Partner Solutions (GPS) team is a sales organization accountable for the commercial partner business at Microsoft, and the mission is to build and sell Microsoft Cloud applications, services and devices with partners, empowering people, and organizations to achieve more.

As the Field Operations Leader, you will drive the rhythm of the business with Microsoft’s field GPS Teams, manage the GPS Field Leader Community, and drive execution and gather insights for key business initiatives. This opportunity will allow you to grow your operational, coaching, change management, and people experiences to accelerate your career leadership. This role is flexible in that you can work up to 100% from home.

  • Business Partnership and Support – You will partner with the GPS Core Segment Leaders and Core Sales Operations Lead to drive a consistent Rhythm of the Business (RoB) with Field Teams aligned to growth opportunities in Partner/Solution development, Go-To-Market, and Co-selling processes to exceed business objectives and key results. You will lead in providing insights from field teams into the business and simplify where possible without compromising outcomes.
  • Strategic Guidance and Planning – You will guide GPS leaders on the current and forward-looking business plans through active community engagements – virtual and in person. You will enable collaboration between Core and Field GPS teams to enable the segment to achieve its goals by aiding field planning subcomponents and execution of business priorities.
  • Coaching for Growth and Transformation – You will build relationships with Core and Field GPS Leaders to form virtual team driving key priorities. You will drive orchestration across various roles within GPS Field Teams, increase collaboration, and enable greater sales impact.
  • Drive Partner Processes Discipline – You will guide GPS Field Teams to increase capability and productivity through deeper partner adoption of Microsoft Cloud applications and services. You will coach accountability, and process adoption aiding collaboration, replication of best practices, identification of insights, and use of available programs to ensure quality and completeness.


Required/Minimum Qualifications :

10+ years experience in sales, sales operations/management, account management, program management, business development, marketing, consulting, or a related field OR equivalent experience.

Data Experience

5+ years of experience using data to drive business outcomes or inform business decisions.

Stakeholder Management Experience

10+ years of experience managing relationships with stakeholders, clients, and/or customers.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications :

Bachelor's Degree in a related field.

Project / Change Management Experience

5+ years managing projects, including planning, managing timelines, and tracking progress, and/or change management experience.
