The Microsoft Security organization is seeking a curious, analytical, self-motivated Sr. Business Operations Manager to join our Enterprise Management division within the Executive Office team. The candidate will report to the Chief of Staff and will partner closely with business management peers across the Security org, Finance, HR, exec admin teams, and various other stakeholders. The is a visible role that requires frequent written and verbal communication with C-Suite execs. We are looking for someone who is comfortable with Microsoft financial tools and processes, and can think quickly, act scrappy, and model inclusion. Financial Management (70%)

  • Define and operationalize annual budget and headcount planning, quarterly forecasting, and monthly financial management for the division.
  • Develop review structure, scorecards, playbooks, and tools as needed in partnership with the EMX Leadership Team
  • Ensure alignment of project codes, cost centers, and internal orders supporting the EMX organizational structure and reporting requirements.
  • Track vendor spend across the division ensuring POs are accurately created and aligned to approved investment areas.
  • Suggest, document, and implement business process improvements.

Program Management (30%)

  • Support Chief of Staff in employee engagement, career advancement, and diversity & inclusion initiatives for the organization.
  • Special project as assigned.
