The Global Demand Center (GDC) within the Cloud Marketing Group is leading the marketing transformation of Microsoft’s largest and fastest growing commercial businesses. Our always-on acquisition and nurture Global Account-Based Marketing (ABM) Programs work across segments, targeting business and technical customers across our commercial portfolio. This includes Azure, Microsoft 365, Teams, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Project, Visio, Teams, Surface, AI, Security, Digital Transformation, commercial industries, and education, with programs available in 42 markets and 30 languages. The GDC team is modernizing and integrating these channels through advanced analytics, marketing automation, and digital marketing. We are on a mission to drive market share, consumption, and consistent double-digit+ revenue growth. Connected Sales and Marketing Programs are the foundation upon which the GDC engines are built, and we’re looking for a skilled, self-motivated, data-driven marketer to help lead GDC Programs that lead to customer engagement and produce successful sales conversations.  

The Integrated Marketing Strategist understands their customers better than anyone, defines integrated marketing plans, and leads cross-functional stakeholder groups to deliver program execution throughout the year. The Lead is the business owner who regularly measures movement of customers throughout the sales funnel, generates insights, and optimizes plans accordingly. A successful Program Lead has a proven record of motivating and influencing teams in a matrixed organization, and knows how to prioritize based on the levers that drive the biggest impact. Successful candidates will have an exceptional ability to generate energy within their cross-functional teams and stakeholders, using their strong communication and collaboration skills. Deeply curious about our customers, they will create clear customer-centric program strategies that drive strategic business objectives. They will have an analytical, data-driven mentality that enables them to adapt and optimize their programs to deliver the right results.

Responsibilities

  • Support and execute evergreen, scaled and integrated marketing programs designed and optimized to achieve prioritized business goals for high-value customer accounts
  • Support the development of insight-inspired customer journeys in tight partnership with the Content Strategy team.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing teams to understand market dynamics, business opportunities, product roadmaps and disclosure plans.
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships at all levels, utilizing thoughtful communication to create clarity and drive progress towards shared business outcomes.
  • Contribute to a diverse and inclusive culture by modelling inclusive behavior across all stakeholder and team touchpoints.

  • Passion for customers and experience nurturing customer relationships at scale through best-in-industry digital marketing techniques.
  • Proven cross-functional team member with the ability to educate and influence with high levels of ambiguity and tight deadlines.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively, while maintaining great attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the proven ability to influence across a breadth of marketing, engineering and operations stakeholders.
  • Results-focused with a deep sense of accountability.
  • Strong understanding of the B2B technology buying committee and purchase cycles.
  • Ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights that inform strategy and execution.
  • Exceptional collaboration skills with experience developing strong relationships with a diverse range of partners. Growth mindset with an ability to learn and grow from experiences.
  • A strong commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 3+ years integrated marketing (e.g., digital, relationship, social media, campaign), event management, marketing strategy, business planning, marketing operations, or related work experience OR equivalent experience.
