Responsibilities

The position requires superior organization and communication skills, as well as being able to synthesize stakeholder inputs into cohesive strategy. You will be an experienced marketer with a solid understanding of events channel, digital marketing and empowered to drive creative strategy and execution that aligns to business objectives and ensure success and excellence in marketing execution. You must have a real passion for managing end-to-end marketing programs, proven success in planning and orchestration, solid project management skills and strong attention to detail. Alongside a positive, self-motivated, can-do attitude and will step in at any point to help or support the team and do whatever it takes to drive successful outcomes.

Strategic and Execution Deliverables:

  • Partner with Product Marketing Managers (PMM) and Global Demand Center (GDC) Lifecycle Program Leads with an intake and review process to prioritize events supported
  • Build a comprehensive event plan including producing the event, driving a demand gen strategy and post attendee nurture for Cloud Marketing events
  • Work with key Microsoft stakeholders and vendors to execute event plan with a structured work back schedule
  • Lead the digital event experience design and coordinate production
  • Implement a data and optimization plan to continually increase effectiveness of demand generation tactics
  • Build and use key data and analytics engines to foster a learning environment and to execute with precision using metrics as a guide
  • Create a field toolkit and guidance to equip field teams with tools to drive demand generation and marketing for our Corporate led digital events
  • Lead demand generation and marketing tactics across social, web, O&O, paid and nurture
  • Complete post mortem and measurement reporting

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 3+ years integrated marketing (e.g., digital, relationship, social media, campaign), event management, marketing strategy, business planning, marketing operations, or related work experience
    o OR equivalent experience.

    Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 5+ years integrated marketing (e.g., digital, relationship, social media, campaign), event management, marketing strategy, business planning, marketing operations, or related experience
    o OR Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 2+ years integrated marketing (e.g., digital, relationship, social media, campaign), event management, marketing strategy, business planning, marketing operations, or related experience
    o OR equivalent experience.
  • Proven ability to think strategically and creatively, while maintaining great attention to detail.
  • Digital marketing acumen (digital event production, integrated marketing planning experience, customer journey design experience).
  • Excellent organizational, planning and project management skills with the ability to influence and drive change through others.
  • Experience building highly collaborative relationships with a diverse range of partners.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Microsoft Security and Microsoft 365 preferred.

The salary for this role in the state of Colorado is between $119,200 and $178,800.

At Microsoft, certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
