The Microsoft Federal organization was established to address the unique mission, legal/regulatory requirements, and procurement rules and processes of the United States Government (USG). Microsoft Federal is committed to ensuring its resources – including appropriately qualified, experienced, and certified personnel (with necessary security clearances or otherwise) are available as needed to meet USG evolving needs. Manages the day-to-day running of the business including driving the rhythm of business (ROB) and collaboration across a variety of stakeholders within Microsoft
Works across account teams to coordinate and drive account planning and executive engagement
Helps lead key processes including forecasting, pipeline management, marketing engagement, business reviews, etc.
Works with other groups within Microsoft Federal and Microsoft globally to coordinate resources, share and learn best practices, engage partners and key stakeholders to drive impact
Fosters a positive team culture and health by leading/supporting initiatives (e.g., hiring, onboarding, training, development, etc.)
Drives cross-team projects as needed to meet the changing business environment and manage complex business needs
Leads executive-level communication with a variety of internal audiences
Designs and oversees the creation of foundational and storytelling content within the organization and may do so within the industry
Drives accountability for the team and organization in executing core business activities
8+ years of sales, business program management, business operations, consulting, or equivalent experience
3+ years organizing and communicating with senior level executives.
Organizational skills to manage a busy workload and deliver projects on time
Ability to partner with cross-functional teams in a highly matrixed and global environment
Attention to detail and a relentless focus on execution
Excellent written and interpersonal communication
Ability to work with a variety of people across the organization, including senior leaders, individual contributors, and support staff
Ability to translate ideas into clear, high impact communications
Ability to be calm and maintain good judgment in fast-paced market
Ability to excel in an ambiguous environment and effectively triage several competing priorities
Experience in building effective business processes for diverse teams
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
The successful candidate must be a U.S. Citizen. Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of US Citizenship to meet federal government security requirements.
Cloud Screening: Candidates must be able to successfully complete and pass a Microsoft Cloud background screening. Required Cloud Screenings will be administered on a recurring bi-annual basis.
