The Role at NFP

Account Manager

You understand that healthy employees are happy employees. At NFP, your multitasking flexibility and knowledge of benefits administration, HealthCare Reform, industry trends, and carrier products and services will be utilized to the fullest extent. You’ll form trustful relationships with clients and colleagues in the field of Corporate Benefits and optimize our operations by combining your expertise into a single, impactful and mission-driven role.

You’ll join NFP as we lead the way in providing cutting-edge benefits solutions for companies of all sizes and affluent individuals. Our benefits, insurance, property and casualty and wealth management businesses provide outstanding advisory and brokerage services that are fine-tuned to our clients’ present and future needs.


Building the perfect plan to attract high-performing, loyal employees is hard. That’s where you come in as part of the NFP Employee Benefits Account Management team. You’ll bring our clients the right people, technology, experience and insights to take the headache out of benefits administration.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • On a granular level, you will prepare applications, proposals, and correspondence with both clients and carriers, process endorsements, perform binder billing, assist claims department, issue certificates, and prepare allocation and broking submissions. On occasion, you may work on special projects that bring exceptional service to clients.
  • On a holistic level, you will form trusted partnerships with clients that inspire absolute confidence in our solutions, and in our ability to enhance their prosperity.

Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:

  • Proven success selling services and working in a consultative role
  • Ability to quickly learn business model and value proposition
  • Must obtain and maintain appropriate licenses
  • College degree or equivalent experience
